There were just enough ponds, lakes, and rivers in the area ensuring he would never run out of bodies of water to conquer the fish that resided in the area. He loved the community and the people and was active on several local wildlife and governing committees. In 1999 he met his wife, Ray Prescott, who shared his interests. Greenville was his home and he enjoyed everything the area offered. He had a love of gardening creating beautiful flower beds and landscaping. John was well known and respected in the fly-fishing community. His fishing journals spanning 47 years are a legacy to his interest, skill, and love for the sport. consultant with licensing for real estate sales and appraisal.Īt 70 years old John retired completely and pursued his lifelong passion - fly fishing. Upon retirement John started his own forestry business as a forest mgt. He went on to manage Dirigo Lumber in Greenville, ME and the Pleasant River Co. out of Bangor, ME in the Timberlands division administrating the Passamaquoddy Lumber Co. He began his forestry career with Dead River Co. He advanced on a fellowship to a master's degree with honors in corporate financing at Yale University School of Forestry. He went on to UNH where he received his BS in Forestry. The family moved to Derry, NH where he attended Pinkerton Academy. Commonly known as the little blonde firecracker, Evie frequented the Music in the Park events throughout the summer with her Gigi and Memere, and she danced shamelessly. Her lust of life, zest, fearlessness, curiosity, boundless love, and the light she shined in an otherwise bleak world will never be forgotten. She was so deeply loved and watched intently by a vast and beautiful blended family. Frenchville - Evangeline Nancy Corriveau, born on July 24, 2018, passed away at Eastern Maine Medical Center on April 17, 2023, at the tragically young age of four years old after a sliding accident on Easter Sunday.Įvie is survived by her mother, Angie Rossignol, her father, Tylor Corriveau, her stepmother and stepfather, grandmothers and grandfathers, step-grandmothers and step-grandfathers, stepbrother and stepsister, half-sibling to be, her loving cousins, aunts and uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles, and finally great-grandparents. ![]()
