Each truck generally only has one driver, and they will not lift items over 50 pounds by themselves. Individual items weighing over 50 pounds will not be removed unless Flood Brothers is notified. Residents will be allowed a maximum of three (3) carts per residential unit. Please review the Village ordinance for cart storage on our website. If you have large appliances or particularly bulky items, contact Flood Brothers at (630) 261-0400 prior to the normal pick-up day to be sure that those items can be taken as regular garbage. Residents can continue to use bags and now have the option to rent a garbage and recycling cart from Flood Brothers, for a rental fee of 2.50 per month.
